Mainstage Productions joined the lighting team for Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour, supporting Lights Control Rigging across power, networks and FollowMe Track-iT.

Working across three key areas of the lighting system made this a particularly involved touring role. Alongside responsibility for the show’s lighting power and network infrastructure, we supported the FollowMe tracking system used throughout the production.

From load-in and system checks through to show operation, fault-finding and load-out, the role demanded a broad technical understanding and the ability to move quickly between different parts of the system.

The Loop Tour is a huge stadium production, combining an impressive technical package with the pace and precision expected at this level of touring. Being part of the team behind it is a great example of the large-scale live production experience Mainstage brings to our own projects.
