Mainstage Productions supported Solotech UK as an LX Integration Technician for Katy Perry — The Lifetimes Tour: Live from Paris.

Taking an established touring production and preparing it for a major live concert film brings together the touring show, venue and the additional technical requirements needed for filming. Our role was to help bring those elements together from the lighting side.

Working within the existing touring system, Mainstage supported the additional LX integration required for the Paris production, working alongside the touring crew and wider technical teams to get everything show and camera ready.

It was a different challenge from a standard tour date. The requirements of the live show and filmed production had to come together for a single performance, with additional systems and departments working around an already established touring setup.

For Mainstage, projects like this are particularly exciting. They sit right at the crossover between live production and technical integration — bringing different technologies, suppliers and departments together to deliver one finished production.
