Mainstage Productions supported Solotech UK and the lighting team on Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball during a major fixture swap in Paris.

Rather than joining the production for a standard show call, the project focused on turning around a large quantity of touring lighting equipment and preparing the package for the next stage of the tour.

Working alongside the existing touring crew, Mainstage helped remove, replace and prepare fixtures within the lighting system. With a production of this scale, the work needed to be organised and efficient, with equipment checked and returned ready to continue its touring schedule.

It was a hands-on project on a major international tour and a chance to work with the scale of equipment and infrastructure that comes with a production of this size.

Not every project happens during the show itself. The work between performances is just as important, and this was a great example of the maintenance, preparation and teamwork required behind the scenes to keep a world tour moving.
